Chester L. Unruh, 80, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at his residence in Burrton. He was born June 22, 1932 at Moundridge, son of Fred B. and Malinda (Unruh) Unruh. He was a lifetime farmer and also worked for Cargill as a miller and superintendent. He ws a member of Halstead Baptist Church.
On December 2, 1951 he married Carol Lee Fast at Burrton. She survives. Other survivors include sons; Derrick (Raenita) Unruh, Burrtron; Darian (Carol) Unruh, Indianapolis, Indiana; Duane (Cindy) Unruh, Greenville, South Carolina; daughters; Debbie (Stanley) Waller, Hutchinson; Darla (David) Gaeddert, Hutchinson; brothers, Melvin (Sara) Unruh, Burrton; Homer (Kathy) Unruh, Burton; sister, Mildred Vincent, Burrton; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Unruh and sister, Deloris Gray.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 23, 2012 at Halstead Baptist Church, Halstead. Burial will follow at Burrton Cemetery.
