Ronnie L. Knott, 57, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.
He was born October 9, 1955, in Newton, Kansas, to Robert and Edith (McCann) Knott. Ronnie was a graduate of Hesston High School. He worked as a carpet and flooring installer.Ronnie enjoyed being outdoors. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ronnie had a fondness for dogs and animals. Family was important to him, and he looked forward to spending time with his loving family and friends.
Ronnie is survived by his mother, Edith Knott of Newton, KS; sister, Penny and Todd McAnulty; and brother, Larry and Gail Knott, both of Wichita, KS. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Knott.
A service of remembrance and celebration will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel, with The Reverend Mary Sigmund of St. Matthews Episcopal Church presiding. Private family inurnment will be in the Hesston City Cemetery.Memorials are suggested to the Newton Caring Hands Humane Society, in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
