Myrtie F Girk

   Myrtle Girk, age 20, died as she was returning with her father from their claim in Beaver Co., Oklahoma to their home near Bentley.  She had taken sick in Oklahoma and stated home but did not live to reach home.  The remains were shipped over the Frisco to Bentley and a large crrowd assembled at the depot to receive the relatives and friends who accompanied the remains. 

   The funeral was preached at the M. E. Church in Bentley afater which the body was interred in Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick.  She leaves a father, mother and four brothers to mourn her loss.
