Allean McGaugh Roller, 96, transitioned from this world to eternal life on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Kansas Christian Home. She was born in Dewey Oklahoma on May 27, 1916 to Allen W. and Anna C. Webb McGaugh. She graduated from Newton high school.
She was a retired cosmetologist and hairdresser. Allean married Robert (Bob) Roller and he preceded her in death. Allean liked bird watching, gardening and cooking. She loved her church and loved serving others. She enjoyed her life and enjoyed spending time with her loving family and many friendsl
She is survived by sisters, Daisy Connolly of Wichita and Anna Mae Owens of San Bernardino, California. Also by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, William H. "Willy" Roller; sisters, Louise McGaugh and Florence McGaugh; seven brothers; Lawrence, Gene, Ray, Jessie, Clarence, Herman and John McGaugh.
A celebration of her life will be Friday, December 28, 2012 at Petersen Funeral Home with Pastor Darryl Fox presiding. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Newton.
