Neba M. Regier, 87, died December 19, 2012 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born April 21, 1925 in Halstead to Ben T. and Ethel Johnson Koehn. She was a 1944 graduate of Halstead High School. Neva was a member of South Hutchinson Mennonite Church. She married Reuben Regier in Wichita on October 6, 1944. He died August 5, 2001.
She and Reuben volunteered rogether at the Et. Cetra shop. Neva was a farm wife and was a restaurant cook for several years, having worked at Hesston Colonial House and Country Kitchen, Moundridge. She loved to cook and garden and enjoyed many types of crafts, including crochet, knitting, quilting, embroidery and cross stitching. She was a member of the Hutchinson Antique Club and Quilter's Guild.
Survivors: two daughters, Janice Hoppes (Ron) Hutchinson and Denise Gerber (Greg), Wichita; two grand daughters, Rachel and Laura Gerber, both of Wichita. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Rugene Koehn.
Services will be held December 22 at the church in Hutchinson. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery.
