Tedder, Linda Lee

The Newton Kansan

   Linda Lee  Bornowsky Tedder. 60, died November 24, 2012 at Harry  Hynes Memorial  Hospice in Wichita.  She was born January 21, 1952 in Newton to Francis D. and Evelyn J. Voran Bornowsky.  She was the oldest of 8 children.  She attended St. Mary's Catholic School and graduated from Newton High School in 1970.  She attended Wichita State University and was employed as a Senior Grant Administrator at  Wichita State University for over 30 years.

   She was a very warm, caring, giving individual who always put others before herself.   She was very intelligent, creative, was a talented artist, and had a beautiful singing voice.  Everyone that knew her will remember her great sense of humor.  Her family will remember her as a wonderful grandmother, great grandmother, mother and sister.

   Survivors: son, Mike Tedder; grandchild, Lexi Tedder, Great grandchild, ,Jenna St. Martin; sisters, Paula Sullivan; Gail Roland; Mary Daugherty; Jean Kemp and Rita Winfrey; brothers,  Ralph and Larry Bornowsky.  She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Francis and Evelyn Bornowsky.

   A Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church Nov. 30, 2012.  The Recitation of the Holy Roary will be held at 12:30 pm prior to the funeral mass.  Peterson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
