LaEva Mae Jantz, 87, died December 26, 20112 at the Newton Medical Center. She was born February 4, 1925 at Halstead, to Henry and Anne Koehn Buller. She was a homemaker. She married Milton K. Jantz on November 7, 1942 at Ft. Hood, Oklahoma. He died August 2, 1998.
Survivors include a son, Vernon R. Jantz, Wichita; daughter, Betty A. Jantz, Littleton, Colorado; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton; three sons, Stanley; Michael and Terry Jantz; brother, Edwin "Susie" Buller.
Funeral service was held Monday December 31, at the Kaufman Funeral Home Chapel. Committal service followed in the Halstead Cenetery.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Ruth-Wilson American Legion Post No. 231 in care of the funeral home.
