   The remains of Edward Harmon of Shawnee, Oklahoma were brought to Burrton on Friday evening on Santa Fe train No. 5.  Interment was made in the Burrton Cemetery and short services were held, Rev. Ralph Wyrick officiting.

   Edward Harmon waw born 36 years ago on the old farm near Burrton.  The deceased had been an invalid for the last three years.  His home of recent years has been at Shawnee, Oklahoma, where he wqs employed as librarian for the Santa Fe Ry. Co.  His death occured at the hospital at Topeka on last Wednesday.

   Those attending the funeral from out of town were Mrs. Jake Harmon, mother of the deceased of  Shawnee, O klahoma; Mrs. Fred Corbitt of Emporia; Mrs. Dr. Hunt wife of the attending physician of Emporia; Mrs. Jim Siggerson; Mrs. Katie Olson; and Joe and  Charles Harmon of Wichita..
