Shawn Lindsey, 34, was born October 18, 1978 to Susie Funk Linsey and Clyde W. Lindsey in Newton.
Survivors include his mother, Susie of Newton; father Clyde of Wichita; three daughters, Alexis Linsey of Newton and Lenae and Madison Vermilyea of Walton; sister and brother-in-law, Anita and Alan Vermilyea of Walton; paternal grandmother, Rose Marie Lindsey of Newton and uncle, Ronnie Funk of Denver, Colorado
Preceding him in death was an uncle, Jerry Funk; and his maternal grandparents, Rubin and Clista Funk.
A Memorial visitation will be January 25 with the family. Colonial Funeral Home, Newton is in charge of arrangements.
