Robert T. McLinden, 86, died Feb. 20. 2013 at the Peabody Nursing Home in Peabody.
He was born April 17, 1926 to Jessie Adams McLindeen and Thomas McLinden in Marion. He married Florence M. Bishop in Emporia.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Newton. He served in the United States Army. He enjoyed woodworking in his free time.
He is preceded in death by his parentss; two brothers, Joseph and Cecil and sister, Margaret.
Survivors:wife, Florence of the home; daughter, Roberta and husband, Craig Schuster, Littleton, Colorado and two grandchildren, Andrew and Hannah.
Funeral Mass will be March 2 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Newton, Father James Mainzer presiding. Cremation
has taken place. A family inurnment will follow at a later date.
