Barbara K. Murray died March 20, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.
She was born January 5, 1938 in Four Acre, Oklahoma to Earl F. and Ella Cole Fisher. On February 21, 1955 she married Lee Murray in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He survives. As her daughter was growing up, Barbara was involved with the PTA and served as a Girl Scout leader. She was head of office supplies at the former McCloud's in Twin Lakes Shopping Center in Wichita. She was a loving mother and friend and greatly looked forward to spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors: husband, Lee of the home; daughter, Debora and husband Stephen Shaw of Wichita; step-daughter Patricia and her husband Tom O'Hara of Enid, Oklahoma; brother, Gary Fisher; sister Karen and husband Jack Bromley of Coffeyville and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Lisa Shaw.
Graveside committal service was March 23, 2013 at Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick. Memorials are siggested to the American Diabetes Association in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
