LaVerna Kay "Katie" Graber, 71, passed away June 9, 2013 at her home in Burrton. She was the daughter of Bessie Orpha Madison and Walter Marion Bingham. She was born June 20, 1941 on Grace Street in Wichita.
A resident of Burrton since 1974, with the exception of seven years between 2000-2007, she had worked at Cessna-Eaton Corporation, Hutchinson for 20 years assembling piston blocks. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Burrton and enjoyed gardening, cooking, bird watching, camping and baking lots of cookies and cakes. She had a very large caring family.
On February 24, 1959 she married Bobby Joe Morrow in Fayetteville, Arkansaas. He passed away. On March 25, 1988 she married Royce J. Graber in Miami, Oklahoma. He survives.
Other survivors: sons; Joe (Melanie) Morrow, ElReno, Oklahoma; Chris Morrow of Eagle Rock,, Missouri; Wayne Morrow of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; Michael (Tara) Morrow of Wichita; her daughters, Michele (Rick Roberts) Morrow, Oklahoma City; Bobbi (Guy) Barton of Halstead; her step-sons; Steve (Linda) Graber, Moundridge; Kenton (Judy) Graber, Berryton; her stepdaughters, Mulie (Mark) Premock, Chicago; Lisa (Bob) Strobel; Shawn (Lonnie) Funk; Sheila (Jason Walker) all of Manhattan; sisters, Hazel (Don) VanHorn, Tulsa: Sue (Davd) Maxwell, Buhler; Linda (Russ) Coiner, Hastings, Nebraska; Sherry McCandless of Moundridge; brother; Richard (Linda) Bingham,, Burrton; 31 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Buddy Bingham; Charles Bingham; Larry Bingham; sisters; Petty Ralston; Ruth Rude; Margie Keith and Virginia Milner.
Funeral services were held June 12 at First Christian Church of Burrton with burial in Burrton Cemetery.
