Elmer F Smith

   Elmer Francis Smith was the son of Mr. & Mrs. S. J. Smith, was born in 1881 near Syracuse, Kansas.  He came to Halstead in 1885.  He married Bertha Klopfensteine in 19907.  He was a member of the Dunkard church at McPherson. 

   Survivors: wife, 3 children, father, mother, grandmother, Mrs. Menzie; 2 brothers; 2 sisters.

   Burial was in Halstead Cemetery.
