Lucas J. Campbell, 26, Planemasters Pilot and Centerline Aviation Flight Instructor, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Great Bend Regional Hospital, Great Bend, Kansas. He was born August 14, 1986 at Wichita to Gerald and Leslie Pankratz Campbell.
He was a Planemasters Pilot and Centerline Aviation Flight instructor. He graduated from Burrton High School in 2004 and 2008 from the Aernoautical Technology Program at Kansas State University. He loved to fly and was a gifted instrructor.
Survivors: parents, Gerald and Leslie Camptell, Burrton; brother, Brian Camptell, Burrton; grandmothers; Faye Campbell, Burrton and Marcella Wagerle, Wichita; girlfriend, Amanda Daviss of Wichita and many other family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Lyle Camptell and Charles Wagerle, also great grandfather, Edgar Hansen.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 228, 2013 at Burrton Christian Church, Burrton with the Rev. Charles Kerr officiating. Burial in Burrton Cemetery.
