George W. Warrick died at his home northwest of Burrton. He was born in Indiana in 1850 and in 1874 married Lizzie V. Fry. They moved to Burrton in 1893.
Survivors: widow; six children, Abe, Will, Viola, Jennie May, Mary Etta Rowlands and Emma Woods; five brothers, all who live out of state. Burial in Burrton Cemetery. School was dismissed for h is funeral so the students could attend. He carried insurance iin the amount of three thousand dollars iin the Modern Woodman of America Lodge.
