Jacob G Risser

Jacob G. Risser died at his home two miles north of Halstead in July 1910.  He was born in West Windsor, Ohio in 1841.  He married Mary Erdt in Ashtabula Co., Ohio in 1868.  They came to Kansas in 1877.  His wife died two years after coming to Kansas for 15 years he made his home with his sister, Mrs. Jacob Linn.

   Survivors: brother, Abe in Ohio; Chris of Halstead; sister; Mrs. John Lehman, Halstead, daughters, Mrs. A. H. Rex and Mrs. Robert Bansemer.
