Charles Dorsey Hughes, prominent Garden township farmer, died September 4, 1910. He was born June 11, 1855 in Baltimore. He moved to Halstead 11 years ago. He had suffered from consumption for the past 15 years.
Survivors: aged parents; brothers, Thomas and Alexander; children; Edward R.; Clarence E.; and Elmer M; and his widow whom he married in 1879.
