John M. Hogue died at the home of his brother, C. L. Hogue in the east part of Halstead. Cause of death consumprion, which he contracted while engaged in mining operations in Mexico. He came to Halstead about 3 months ago, believing a change would prove beneficial, but the ravages of the great white plague could not be controlled.
Since he came here, his sife, Sue, died, leaving one child three years of age. Interment in the City Cemetery.
