Hannah T. Little Smith was born in 1837 in Indiana. She married John W. Smith in 1856. The family came to Kansas in 1870, locatinng on a farm four miles north of Halstead. They were members of Fairview Friends Church. They had 3 sons and 6 daughters. Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery.
