Obituary

   Elizabeth Dester Haury, wife of Daniel Haury was born in Iowa November 23, 1858 and passed away July 11, 1913.   She came to Kansas in 1883 and married Daniel Haury in 1885.  They have four living children; Laura, Ella, Erma and Paul.  She was a devoted step-mother to seven step children: Dr. Richard Haury, Edwin, Albert, Bertha, Mrs. Otto Rupp and Carl.  Another son, Samuel died in 1907 while finishing his course of medicine in Chicago.

   Survivors: husband; sisters, Christine Kreehbiel; Barbara Funk; and brother Henry Dester.

  Services at Mennonite Church.  By this untimely death, a happy home has been ruthlessly broken.
