Janet Mae McCartney Auernheimere, 53, loving wife and mother, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was born July 30, 1959 in Concordia to James A. and Francis "Joan" Mendenhall McCartney. On December 22, 1979 she married John A. Auernheimer at Harvey County West Park and he survives of the home.
Other survivors: son, Jason of Salina; Justin of Moundridge; brothers, Robert (Debra) McCartney of Newton; Tim (Angela) McCartney, Newton; James (Clarice) McCartney, Hesston; sister,, Mary (Andy) Andrews of Alamogordo, N.M.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Darrell McCartney.
Services 5 p.m. Sunday evening memorial service at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel.
