Minnie Lawrence Blackfan died after being bedfast for 15 weeks with Typhoid Faver. She was born in Pennsylvania in 1867 and taught school for five years. She married James T. Blackfan. They were members of the Presbyterian Church. Survivors: one daughter, Lucille, father, two brothers and two sisters.
