Mrs. Susanna Mary Lamborn, who came up from Oklahomma two or three months ago, was taken with quick consumption and died at the home of her father, Amasa N. Allen, north of town last Friday morning. The hand of afliction is heavy upon Amasa Allen and family. The wife, a son in law, son, grandchild and a daughter have died within 14 months. They have the sympathy of the entire community.
Mrs. Lamborn was born July 11, 1880 and died December 22, 1905, aged 25 years, 5 months, 11 days. Her marriage to Mr. Lamborn occured January 22, 1900. To them were born two children, one of whom died within a year of the mother's death.
Her funeral was conducted from the M.E. Church by the Pastor R. A. Dadismann and her body was laid to rest in Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick.
