Helen Montgomery, 94, died Monday, July 29, 2013 at Catholic Care Center in Wichita. She was born in Newton March 18, 1919 to Geoge and Mary C. Cullinan Montgomerey. She was a retired executive secretary for the IRS and a civilian employee for the Air Force.
Helen was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wichita and attended St. Mary's Church in Newton, which was her home parish growing up in Newton.
Survivors: sister-in-law, Betty J. Montgomery of Wichita and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be Monday at 10:30 on August 5 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Newton. Recitatiion of the Holy Rosary will be Monday morning at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Newton. Visitation will be at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton.
