Jimmie Lee Klein, 80, retired KDOT equipment operator, died Thursday, August 15, 2013 at his home in Burrton. He was born November 17, 1932 at Liberal, Kansas to Leonard and Elizabeth Klassen Klein. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He married Mary Helen Keefover at Hutchinson on March 21, 1951. She survives. Other survivors: son, Bill (Fay) Kleink Burrton; daughter, Jenny (Steve) Dilbeck) Novack, Hutchinon; sister, Joyce (Paul) Dehm, Hutchinson, grandchildren; Christi (Jeff) Smith and Sherrie (Carlos Moore) Novack, Hutchinson; Jimmie (Jess Herrick) Klein, Sacramento, California; Williamm (Marla Klein), Andover; Jacob (Caroline Schultz) Klein, Halstead and 10 great grandchildren.
Private family graveside service will be held at Burrton Cemetery. Memorials to Hospice.
