He was a traveling salesman for Swift and Company. The people of this vicinity have long entertained a warmhearted feeling for him becausee of his genial disposition and sunny attributes. The funeral party arrived from St. Joe and services were conducted from the Christian Church. The stores and business houses were closed in the afternoon.
