Esther Virginia Norton, age 80, McKinney, Texas, passed away August 24, 2013 in Plano, Texas. She was born October 23, 1932 in Newton to John and O'Tillie Wiebe. She attended Emporia State College in Emporia and worked for the FAA and the SSA in Tulsa, Oklahoma for 18 years. Esther moved to McKinney in 1998 and was a member of Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church in Allen, Texas.
She is survived by her sons, Bill Norton and wife, Cherly of The Colony, Texas; Kim of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Randy Norton and wife Ann, and Whit Norton and wife, Paige, both of Allen, Texas and Scott Norton or North Carolina; 11 grandchildren; brother, John Wiebe,, Newton and numerus relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dallas, Virgil and Ronald; sisters, Erica, Delores and Doris and formere husband Bill Norton.
Funeral services will be August 30 at Turrentine-Jacison-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will take place Friday, September 6 at Greenwood Cemetery, Newton. Memorials to American Cancer Society.
