Cecilia Pankiewica, 50, died August 24, 1013 at Harry Hynes Hospice at St. Francis Campus in Wichita. She was born August 22, 1963 to Lucille Staggenborg and Charles Pankiewicz in Kansas City.
Cecilia was very active in her life. She loved dancing, shopping, bowling, going to drive-in movies, working on arts and crafts and spending time with family and friends. She was always on the go and is descrribed by all as the life of the party. She was a very vivacious and cheerful woman. She could make anyone laugh and always had a smile on her face. She was baptized and raised Catholic.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles in 1998. Surivors: son, Jason Myers, Newton; two daughters, Krysta Gaiser and fiance, Nathan Goetzinger, Lawrence; Kayley Gaiser, Manhattan; two brothers, Davd Pankiewicz, Meridian, Misis; Alan Pankiewicz, Newton; three sisters, Theresa (Gary) Metz, Morrison, Colorado; Carol (Kendall) Barker, Newton and Karen (Luke) Martin, Broomfield, Colorado and grandson, Jarrod Myers, Newton.
Services were held Augusst 30. 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Newton.
