Dean Dale Wright, 82, passed away September 29, 2013. He was born March 30, 1931 in rural Latham to Marion and Emily Fear Wright. He married Betty Bidwell on May 10, 1958 in Whitewater. They recently celebrated 55 years of marriage.
After 35 years, Dean retired from Boeing tooling division in Wichita and then Everett, Washington. In addition, he owned a land clearing business. Dean enjoyed hunting, leather craftsmanship and loved golf.
Survivors: wife, Betty Wright; children; Susan Crook, Deanna Ice, Monte Wright, Jim Stonequist, Linda Ingram-Criger; brother, Aaron Wright; sister, Margaret Thompson; 18 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Wright and Emily Brassfield; brother, Joseph Wright, sister, Marjorie Wright and grandchild, Christina Criger.
Funeral services will be October 3 at First Church of the Nazarene in Newton.. A memorial has been seet up for the First Church of the Hazarene of Newton.
