Elizabeth Panakratz Zuercher, age 102, died Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Weatherford, Texas. She was born May 31, 1911 at Moundridge, the daughter of Cornelius and Margaret Regier Pankratz. For many years she lived in the Whitewater communiity, where she was a member of the Swiss Church and the Auxiliary of the Gideons International. In Weatherford, she was a homemaker, real estate agent and the former owner of K & N Root Beer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurence and nine siblings. Survivors: two sons: Ronald (Nannette) Zuercher of Martinez, Georgia ;Dr. Earl (Marie) Zuercher of Weatherford, Texas; 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Services willl be Monday, October 14 at the Swiss Church in Whitwater. Interment will follow at the Swiss Cemetery.
