Rosie Johnson Janzen, 83, homemaker, died Monday, October 14, 2113 at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge. She was born August 6, 1930 at Halstead to Peter T. and Katie Schmidt Buller Johnson.
She was a member of First Mennonite Church, Halstead, and was a lifetime Halstead resident prior to moving to Moundridge in 1993. On November 26, 1948 she married Elmmer Janzen at Wichita. He preceded her in death April 16,. 2002.
Survivors: son, Jay (Rachel) Janzen, St. Charles, Missouri; daughter, Cathy (Rick) Frost, Halstead; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lester Johnson and sisters, Lucille Mornhineg and Betty Jane Johnson.
Funeral service will be Friday, October 18 at First Mennonite Church, Halstead with Pastor Brian Harmon officiating. Burial will follow at Halstead Cemetery.
