Iva Milligan, 92, died Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Clearwater Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born September 15, 1921 at Grenola, Kansas to Clarence and Ella McKain Lynam. She was a Sedgwick resident for 40 years prior to moving earlier this year. She w as a former clerk in the WSU Bookstore and was a former Wichita meter reader.
She was a member of Sedgwick United Methodist Church; Athena Club; and was a Past Queen, Daughters of the Nile Zohan Temple and was a former Past Worthy Matron Ivy Leaf Chapter 75, Order of the Eastern Star.
On January 17, 1958 she married Willis R. Milligan at Wichita. He died October 12, 2013.
Survivors: son Robert Milligan, Wichita; daughters, Joyce (Vernon) Kafka, Wichita; Pam (Bill) Sullens, Marietta, Georgia; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grand children and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Best; granddaughter, Malia Sullens; grandson, Cory Best; brother, Bob Lynam and sister, Clara White.
Graveside services are Saturday morning, October 12 at Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick.
