Ella Hiebert Ramsey, 96, died October 14, 2013 at the Kansas Christian Home in Newton. She was born November 27, 1916, the daughter of Mary Friesen and John E. Hiebert in Lehigh. She married George Ramsey in Hutchinson
July 12, 1937. He died January 4, 1990 in Yuma, Colorado.
Ella was a former member of the Mission Baptist Church of Borger, Texas. Here favorite pastimes were embroidering, ,reading and puzzles.
Preceeding her in death were her parents; her husband, George; one sister, Rose Hiebert Weesner; two brothers, Albert and Frank Hiebert; granddaughter, Carmen Smith.
Survivors: daughter, Hazel M. Blanakenship, granddaughter, Shelia Conner; 6 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at the Whitewater Cemetery Friday, October 1 8, 2013.
