Allen Koehn, 91, retired Coleman warranty clerk and farmer, died Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Pine Village, Moundridge, Kansaas. He was born July 31, 1922 to Jacob Tobias and Nettie Unruh Koehn. He was a member of Grace Church of God in Christ Mennonite Church and was a lifelong Halstead area resident, prior to moving to Moundridge in 2011.
On April 25, 1943 he married Osie Eella Schmidt at Halstead. She survives at Moundridge.
Other survivors: daughters: Brenda Schneider, Walnut Hill, Florida; Jan (Mike) Unruh, Greensburg brother, Harley (Alice) Koehn, Halstead; sisters; Eileen Dyck and Vera (Merle) Schmidt, Moundridge; 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by sons Marshall and Myron Koehn; grandson, Brett Unruh; brothers Otis
Lucas, Noah and Menno Koehn; sister, Ada Nightingale and a son-in-law Ervin Schneider.
Services will be November 12 at Grace Church of God in Christ Mennonite Church with Ministers, Raleigh Koehn, Kenneth Smith and Larry Koehn presiding. Burial will follow iin Halstead Cemetery.
