Girl Dies While In A Physician's Chair

Died in Electrical Chair - Birdie McElwain, aged 19, of Burrton, died suddenly in the office of Dr. G. H. Seigle, at Wichita, where she was taking treatment for tuberculosis. When the girl was placed in an electrical chair she began to cry and shortly afterward lapsed into unconsciousness. Every contrivance was used in effort to revive her, but she died a few minutes later. The body was taken to Burrton at 5:30 p.m.
