Richard S. Lukjano, 64, died Tuesday, November 26, 2013. He had worked for the Hesston Agco Corporation for 40 years. Richard was a very dedicated member of the Our Lady of Guadaulpe Catholic Church.
Survivors: mother, Hope of Newton; brothers Louis W. Lujano, Sr., of Peoria, Arizona and Robert J. Lujano, Sr of Grand Prairie, Texas; and a sister, Mary E. Navarro of Newton Richard was preceded in death by his father, Billlie and brothers, Carlos Rosalio Lujano and William David Lujano.
Richard enlisted on March 24, 1969 in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. After being discharged, Richard returned to Newton and worked for the Hesston/AGCO Corp for 40 years.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Newton. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, both at the church. Visitation will be at 1 plm..
