Lewis Becher
TUCSON, Ariz. -- Lewis Becher, 75, died
Friday (April 3, 1998) at Tucson Medical Center.
He was born April 6, 1923, in Newton to
Arthur D. Becher and Anna Regier Becher. He married Marjorie
Rossillon Aug. 21, 1946. She survives of Tucson, Ariz.
He was employed in management for Sears
and Roebuck for 40 years. He was a Tucson resident for 53 years,
moving from Kansas. He was a Newton High School graduate and was a
United States Army veteran of World War II.
Other survivors include: three sons,
John Becher of Atlanta, Ga., and Robert Becher and James Becher, both
of Tucson, Ariz.; one daughter, Lois Swain of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.;
and five grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m.
Wednesday at Mound Township Cemetery in Moundridge. Friends may call
from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Harder-Kaufman Funeral Home in
Moundridge.
