Elden F Conners

   Elden F. Conners, 90, Boeing craft mechanic, died Sunday, November 24, 2013 at his residence in Halstead.  He was born January 20. 1923 at Independence to Harry and Alice Scott Conners.

  He was a WWII U.S Navy veteran and a member of Ruth-Wilson American Legion Post 231 of Halstead.  Also a 75 year member of Halstead Masonic Lodge and a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Midian Shriine and former member of the Halstead Lions Club.  

   On March 7, 1944 he married Charleen "Blondie" Titus at Wichita.  She survives of the home.

   Other survivors: daughter; Liz Boyd (Terry) Hofmann, Halstead; grandsons; Bryce (Amy Boyd); Billy (Michelle Heimerman) Boyd; great grandchildren; Kylee Conner and Hunter Boyd all of Wichita.

   Funeral services will be November 29 at Kaufman Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Halstead Cemetery.
