Edwarda M. Manring, 78, died Tuesday, November 5 2013 aat Newton Medical Center. She was born August 7, 1935 in ElDorado to Ted and Leona Gard Leffingwell. She was a graduate of the Newton High School class of 1953. Upon graduation she married Fawn Manring in Newton. They were married for more than 60 years until her death.
Edwarda was formally an office manager for Toevs Realty and Insurance. She enjoyed flower gardening, quilting and fishing. She was awarded the honor of Woman of the Year inn 1`958. She greatly loved her grandchildren and was famous for her macaroni and cheese. She was a member of Trinity Heights United Methodist Church.
Survivors: husband; children; Tim (Kim) Manning; daughter, Malissa Bolte, both of Newton; sister, Sue Harper and 5 grandchilldren.
Services will be Saturday November 9 at Trinity Height United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery following the service.
