Sarah J. Carroll "Janie", 75, died Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Kansas Christian Home. She was born May 31, 1938 in Buhler to Abraham and Sarah Willems Fast. Janie had a large collection of dolls she enjoyed collecting and displaying. She enjoyed spending time watching John Wayne movies and listening to gospel music. Her greatest joy in life was her family and grandkids.
Survivors: one son, Gary (Laura Dunahoo of Peabody; two daughters, Janie Weber Gonzalez (Robert) Newton; Sherry Dunahoo of Newton; one brother, Hank Fast of California; three sisters; rose (John) Gomez, Newwton; Esther Schrader of Newton and Bertha Flinn of Kentucky; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son Thomas Eugene Dunahoo; brother, Abrahamn Fast; three sisters; Wanda Kasper; Ruth Trumble; and Lillian Kelley.
Services were held November 14 at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was inn Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.
