Obituary

Ellen Meacham, 68, died Sept. 16, 2002 at her home in Burrton, Kan. She was born Dec. 6, 1933, at Sedan, the daughter of Lee Roy and Effie Ellen Jones.  Ellen graduated in 1952 at Medicine Lodge, Kan,. and was a former Kingman resident. She was a retired CNA at Haistead Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Meacham, two sons, Jim Wright and Mike Meacham, Burrton, two daughters, Barbara Wright, Burtton, Patty Critchfield, Moundridge, twin sister, Helen Weikal, Kingman, nine grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Eddie, and a daughter, Debbie, her mother and father, six brothers and one sister.

Services were at 2 p.m. Sept. 19 at Medora Community Bible Church. Burial was at Burrton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Medora Community Bible Church or Child Evangelism Fellowship in care of Johnson & Sons Funeral Home, 300 E. 30th, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
