Ada May Litwiller

HESSTON -- Ada May Litwiller, 86, formerly of Bloomington, Ill., died today (April 21, 1998) at Newton Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 19, 1911, in Milford, Neb., to David and Sarah (Stauffer) Yordy. She married Leonard M. Litwiller Aug. 25, 1932, in St. Johns, Mich. He preceded her in death Sept. 28, 1971.

She lived in the Hopedale and Delavan, Ill., area for 39 years. She was a member of the Hopedale Mennonite Church.

Survivors include: four daughters, Arlene Sutter of Manson, Iowa, Phyllis Litwiller and Margaret Mast, both of Hesston and Mary Stalter of Bloomington, Ill.; one son, Paul Litwiller of Hopedale, Ill.; one sister, Grace Brauher of Middleton, Mich.; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by four brothers, Orvin Yordy, Charles Yordy, John Yordy and Emerson Yordy.

Funeral services will be at Hopedale Mennonite Church in Hopedale, Ill. Miller Funeral Home in Hesston is in charge of local arrangements.
