Bernhard E. Entz
Bernhard E. Entz, 84, 200 S.W. 14th,
farmer and stockman, died Thursday (April 23, 1998) at Newton Medical
Center.
He was born Dec. 25, 1913, in rural
Newton to Gustav Entz and Katie (Regier) Entz.
He was a life-time Newton resident. He
served four years in Civilian Public Service from 1942 to 1946.
Survivors include two brothers, Arnold
J. Entz and Gus H. Entz, both of Newton; and two sisters, Frieda
Harder and Helen E. Klaassen, both of Newton. He was preceded in
death by one brother, Alfred Entz; and one sister, Louise Wedel.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m.
Monday at First Mennonite Church in Newton with Revs. Clarence Rempel
and Verney Unruh officiating. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday at Petersen Funeral Home.
Memorials have been established with
First Mennonite Church for local ministry in care of the funeral
home.
