Elmer F. Stucky
Elmer F. Stucky, 76, retired founder of
Full Vision Inc. in Newton, died Friday (May 1, 1998) at Newton
Medical Center.
He was born June 11, 1921, in
Moundridge to Ferdinand O. and Emma (Goering) Stucky. He married
Ericka Wiebe on Sept. 22, 1940, in Newton. She survives of Newton.
He was a member of Hesston United
Methodist Church and Elks Club #706. He moved to Newton in 1968.
Other survivors include: one son, James
B. Stucky of Newton; one brother, P.F. Stucky of Moundridge; one
sister, Frieda Kaufman of Moundridge; and two grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by his father, mother and sister, Lena Krehbiel.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.
Tuesday at Hesston United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ron Rich
presiding. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Newton.
Visitation hours are 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday
and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Peterson Funeral Home.
Memorials have been established with
Hesston United Methodist Church Memorial Scholarship Fund in care of
the funeral home.
