Ola Winifred (Moulton) Harris
Ola Winifred (Moulton) Harris, 80, No.
30 Duncan Lane, died today (May 7, 1998) at Kansas Christian Home.
She was born Aug. 10, 1917, in Waldron
to Frederick John Moulton and Lula (Blowey) Moulton. She married A.
Louis Harris on Dec. 29, 1943, in Attica. He survives of Newton.
She was a member of the First Christian
Church in Newton and the AAUW. She was a missionary minister where
she spent 20 years in Zaire, Africa in the Congo. She served as a
associate minister to several churches.
She was a graduate of Attica High
School and Phillips University in Enid, Okla. She also did graduate
study at Phillips and Hartford Seminary.
Other survivors include: one daughter,
Becky Crosswhite of Rogers, Ark.; one son, David Harris of Rogers,
Ark.; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two
brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.
Saturday at First Christian Church with the Revs. MyCherie Zimmerman
and retired Rev. James West officiating. Graveside services will be
at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Waldron Cemetery in Waldron. Friends may
call from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday at Petersen Funeral Home.
Memorials have been established with
the First Christian Church Fellowship of John in care of the funeral
home.
