Leota F. Brunner
Leota F. Brunner, 89, 200 S.W. 14th,
lab technician for Jensen in Kansas City, died today (May 13, 1998)
at Friendly Acres Retirement Community.
She was born May 25, 1908, in Cowgill,
Mo., to John M. Smith and Mary E. (Lewellen) Smith. She married Ross
Morris. He preceded her in death in 1960. She married Vernie G.
Newton in Kansas City. He also preceded her in death Oct. 16, 1973.
She married Larry Brunner on March 27, 1982, in Newton. He also
preceded her in death April 9, 1993.
She was a member of the Hillcrest
Community Church in Newton, formerly Four Square Church.
Survivors include one step-son, James
Newton of Kansas City; two great-great-grandchildren; and four
step-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m.
Thursday at Cowgill Cemetery in Cowgill, Mo.
