Emelia Kintzi Regier
Emelia Kintzi Regier, 98, 500 W.
Bluestem in North Newton, homemaker, died Sunday (May 17, 1998) at
Kidron Bethel Village.
She was born March 7, 1900, in
Butterfield, Minn., to Theodore and Wilhelmine (Linscheid) Kintzi.
She married William H. Regier June 22, 1923, in Mountain Lake, Minn.
He preceded her in death in January 1964.
She was a member of the Bethel
Mennonite Church in Mountain Lake, Minn., and Wider Fellowship member
at Bethel College Mennonite Church in North Newton. She enjoyed
reading, handwork and traveling.
Survivors include: one son, Robert W.
Regier of North Newton; one daughter, Lola Wiebe Friesen of North
Newton; two sisters, Erna Olsen of Hershey, Pa., and Viola Kintzi of
Austin, Minn.; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 13
great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 4 p.m.
Wednesday at Bethel College Mennonite Church in North Newton with the
Revs. Norma J. Johnson and Steve Yoder officiating. Internment to be
at a later time in Mountain Lake, Minn. Friends may call from 9 a.m.
to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home. Family will
greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials have been established with
Bethel College, Central Homecare and Hospice or Kidron Bethel
Healthcare in care of the funeral home.
