Marie Kinncade, 99, of Newton, earned her wings on November 30, 2013. She was born February 19, 1914 to George and Edith Crutsinger. Marie was a blessing to her family and everyone she met. She was a loving, kind and wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Her passion in life was her family.
She worked several years for Cudahey Packing plant and with the aircraft industry and then she chose to do what she loved best, restaurant baking and cooking. She was well known in the Valley Center area for her craft.
Marie married Roy Kincade on April 1, 1933 and shared 54 years of marriage with him. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, three brothers and four sisters.
Among all the love Marie held in her life, there was one companion who was loyal and never left her side, Pebbles.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherri Westney and husband, Walt, and adored granddaughters, Tiffany and Amberlyn. She is also survived by three wowonderful great grandchildren, Delia Regan, Kaiden Kendall and Jacelyn Marie.
Graveside services will be Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick. Pastor Jared Verwiel, teaching pastor from Swiss Church of Whitewater will be officiating.
