Mildred L. Lord
Mildred L. Lord, 77, 115 W. Ninth No.
701, sales clerk for Carter Pharmacy, died Tuesday (May 19, 1998) at
Newton Medical Center.
She was born May 29, 1920, in Newton to
John C. and Emma M. (Koepping) Lord.
Survivors include one daughter, LaFonda
L. Church of Newton; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Clarence Brown; and two
brothers.
Graveside services will be at 10:30
a.m. Thursday at Greenwood Cemetery with Pastor R. Scott Kliewer from
Meridian Baptist Church officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 9
p.m. today at Petersen Funeral Home.
Memorials have been established with
the America Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
