Willard John Reimer
WHITEWATER -- Willard John Reimer, 68,
farmer and stockman, died Friday (May 22, 1998) at his home in rural
Whitewater.
He was born March 7, 1930, to Gustav J.
Reimer and Justina H. (Harder) Reimer in Newton. He married Gladys
Kauffman on Oct. 16, 1954 in Kalispell, Mont. She survives.
He lived all his life near Whitewater.
He was a member of Grace Hill Mennonite Church.
Other survivors include: three
daughters, Rosemary K. Reimer of Goessel, Karen J. Reimer of North
Newton, and Kristina Reimer Balzer of Inman; one foster daughter,
Connie Van Rossun of Zephrhills, Fla.; two brothers, Adolf G. Reimer
and Charles H. Reimer, both of Wichita; one sister, Doris J. Reimer
of Whitewater; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at
the Grace Hill Mennonite Church in Whitewater with Pastor Jim Voth
officiating. Burial will be in the Grace Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Monday at the Bob Lamb Funeral Home in Whitewater where family will
greet friends.
Memorials may be sent to the Mennonite
Central Committee, Grace Hill Mennonite Church or Central Homecare
and Hospice in care of the funeral home.
